Cindy Kuykendall-CRE, Coordinator of Religious Education

From the Pastor's Desk

Dear Parish Volunteers,

If the Lord has called you to serve as a volunteer in a ministry that requires fingerprinting and you are financially unable to pay for the fingerprinting fee, please contact the parish office and talk to the business manager. Because you are important in the continuation of the ministry of Jesus Christ, we have fingerprinting financial aid available to those who need it.

Please know that there are not exceptions to fingerprinting and the Safe Environment Training requirement.

Please also note: financial aid does not apply to organization members/volunteers.

If you have decided to discontinue your ministry because fingerprinting is required and the Lord is calling you to do something else, we understand. However, all volunteers at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish are still required to attend one (1) Safe Environment Training in order to continue in their ministry or service.

I want to thank all those volunteers who have complied with the diocesan fingerprinting and Safe Environment Training policy. Given the volume of volunteers scheduling appointments at the local fingerprinting center, you might experience some delay and I ask for your patience.

The fingerprinting instructions you received list other fingerprinting centers within the Diocese of Venice. If you have any questions, please contact Paulina or Maria at the Parish Office 743-6877

God bless, Father Rafael
